Supreme Court has issued an interim order on a writ petition filed against the trend of taking action against students for speaking Nepali in private schools.
Law students Ayush Badal, Smriti Adhikari, and Vivek Bakhrel had filed a writ petition alleging that students were being beaten and fined for speaking Nepali in private schools, arguing that such practices were unconstitutional.
Supreme Court has also issued an interim order and a show cause order in the name of the opposition.
